- Provide off-site reference for a diverse clientele from tractor collectors to international academics via email, phone, letter, and fax for a collection consisting of approximately 4000 cubic feet of personal papers and corporate records.
- Provide on-site reference for general patrons in the Wisconsin Historical Society’s Research Room
- Do research within the collection using numerous databases and printed sources as needed to fulfill user requests for information.
- Write outreach articles about the collection for publication in academic and hobbyist magazines and web sites.
- Select and catalog significant photographic images from collection for commercial online sales on the society's web page.
- Appraise, process and write finding aids and catalog records for collections.
- Write Visual Basic programs to convert Microsoft Word finding aids in nested, hierarchical format into keyword searchable Access database for internal use.
- Initiate project to convert legacy finding aids to EAD format.
- Create plan to expand Web site adding digital content, EAD finding aids, user accessibility to collection catalog and collaborative web space.

- Wrote appraisal report, accession record, and finding aid that will be used by Wisconsin Historical Society staff and researchers.
- Initiated procedure to publish family tree extracted from records in collection on Rootsweb.com web site to promote WHS resources to internet genealogical community.
